Access & Reimbursement Manager (Oncology)
*This role requires travel 3-4 days a week within the assigned territory).
Position Overview
The Access & Reimbursement Manager (Oncology) will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure patient access to oncology therapies. This role involves working closely with healthcare providers, payers, and patients to navigate reimbursement challenges and optimize access to necessary treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement access and reimbursement strategies for oncology products
- Educate healthcare providers and patients on reimbursement processes and access issues
- Act as the main point of contact for client-facing activities relating to reimbursement
- Collaborate with managed care organizations to improve patient access to oncology therapies
- Provide field reimbursement support and guidance to sales teams and healthcare providers
- Conduct outreach to patients and providers to facilitate access to oncology treatments
- Monitor and analyze reimbursement trends and develop strategies to address potential barriers
- Travel as needed to meet with clients, stakeholders, and at relevant industry events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in access and reimbursement within the oncology field
- Strong knowledge of managed care, reimbursement processes, and patient access
- Experience in client-facing roles with excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to navigate complex reimbursement environments
- Demonstrated experience in field reimbursement support
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry conferences
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
