An opportunity with one of the Island's and defense bar's finest! We are an expanding 50-attorney preeminent NYC and "Best Lawyers" Tier-1 Long Island personal injury defense law firm. We are seeking a full-time associate with 5-8 years' experience in general civil litigation liability defense. The position can be based either in the firm's Lake Success headquarters on Long Island office or in NYC with required travel to Long Island on occasion and possibilities for partial remote work.
The ideal candidate is intelligent, a quick study, efficient, analytical, highly-motivated and interested in practicing/learning in a fast-paced, cutting-edge and growing practice area of law, specifically defending institutions in cases brought under the Child Victims' Act (CVA), the Adult Survivors Act and Victims of Gender Motivated Violence. Experience in Family Law, Sexual Abuse/Neglect, or Criminal Law and background in substantial motion practice or appeals are strongly preferred for this unique opportunity. Given the importance of finding the right candidate, the firm will entertain resumes from individuals open to moving from plaintiff-side to defense-side work. Must be admitted to practice in New York.
