Associate Attorney
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The Associate Attorney will provide legal consultation on matters related to state and federal law, and will serve as a litigator in various court proceedings. The successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited law school and admitted to the State Bar of Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal consultation and advice on matters related to state and federal law
Serve as a litigator in personal injury, product liability, civil litigation, construction litigation, defense litigation, insurance defense and medical malpractice cases
Prepare legal briefs, pleadings, motions, and other documents necessary for court proceedings
Research state and federal laws related to cases
Represent clients in pre-trial proceedings, court hearings, and mediations
Monitor and review legal documents for accuracy and completeness
Maintain excellent client relations, including responding to inquiries and drafting legal documents and correspondence
Manage all phases of case litigation and ensure deadlines are met
Maintain a detailed and organized case file
Attend and participate in professional legal seminars and conferences
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Admitted to the State Bar of Texas
Minimum of 3 years of legal experience
Knowledge of litigation processes, court procedures, and state and federal laws
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
