Job Title: Attorney
Location: Boston, MA
Salary Rate: $80,000 - $130,000.

My client is a well-respected firm in northern MA, specializing in family law & personal injury. We are seeking an attorney with experience in family law or personal injury, to join our team. The ideal candidate would have court experience and have dual MA/NH bar admission. If that sounds like you, please apply!

What You Will Do:

  • Represent clients in family law matters, such as divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and adoption cases.
  • Provide legal advice on rights, obligations, and options under family law regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including prenuptial agreements, settlement agreements, and parenting plans.
  • Conduct legal research to develop case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws.
  • Advocate for clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions, presenting compelling evidence and arguments.
  • Collaborate with clients to create tailored case objectives and strategies.
  • Coordinate with expert witnesses (e.g., psychologists, and financial analysts) to support case presentations.
  • Manage sensitive client information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Explain complex legal processes and potential outcomes to clients clearly and effectively.

What You Need:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • In-depth knowledge of family law statutes, precedents, and procedures.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to build effective case strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for client interactions and courtroom advocacy.
  • Ability to handle emotionally charged situations with empathy, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Experience in family law practice (preferred, but not always required for entry-level roles).
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and client expectations efficiently.
  • Commitment to staying updated on evolving family law legislation and best practices.
