Controls System Software Engineer
Job Location: Onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI
Salary: Up to $120k + 6% Bonus
Requirements: 6+ years of experience in OOP, Structured Text and Motion Control

What You Will Be Doing

Design, program, test and maintain user interface and motion control applications:

Asist and respond to technical questions from customers and sales teams
Define project requirements and determine feasibility
present design proposals and risk assessments
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and customers
Develop specifications, manuals and timelines
Work with peers and vendors to advance technologies and conceptualize new features
Manage projects to market release

What You Need for this Position

5+ years of software development related to automated machinery, in addition to:
- B.S. in Electrical of Software Engineering
- Object-oriented Programming
- Visual Studio

Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Experience with Beckhoff hardware and software
- Design of Motion Control
- Microsoft tech stack: Visual Studio, MVVM, WPF

- C++, C# or .NET
- Ability to read electrical schematics

- Programming PLCs using structured text (i.e. IEC 61131-3)

- Knowledge of CNC theory and part programming
