Controls System Software Engineer
Job Location: Onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI
Salary: Up to $120k + 6% Bonus
Requirements: 6+ years of experience in OOP, Structured Text and Motion Control

We're looking for a talented Software Engineer with experience writing motion control software to join a well balance team of seasoned engineers and hungry up and comers!

What You Will Be Doing

Design, program, test and maintain user interface and motion control applications:
  • Asist and respond to technical questions from customers and sales teams
  • Define project requirements and determine feasibility
  • present design proposals and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and customers
  • Develop specifications, manuals and timelines
  • Work with peers and vendors to advance technologies and conceptualize new features
  • Manage projects to market release

What You Need for this Position

5+ years of software development related to automated machinery, in addition to:
- B.S. in Electrical of Software Engineering
- Object-oriented Programming
- Visual Studio 

Bonus points if you have experience with: 
- Experience with Beckhoff hardware and software
- Design of Motion Control
- Microsoft tech stack: Visual Studio, MVVM, WPF
- C++, C# or .NET
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Programming PLCs using structured text (i.e. IEC 61131-3)
- Knowledge of CNC theory and part programming
