PLC Controls Technician

Position Overview
The PLC Controls Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, programming, and maintaining PLC systems and associated automation equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in PLC programming and experience with various automation technologies to ensure operational efficiency and reliability in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve PLC control issues in a timely manner
Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other automation devices
Conduct routine maintenance on control systems and equipment
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement control system upgrades
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new automation systems
Develop and maintain documentation for control systems and processes
Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field
Proven experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
Familiarity with HMI programming and configuration
Knowledge of Allen Bradley, Siemens, and other PLC brands
Experience in automation systems, robotics, and OEM applications
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
