Industry leading mechanical contractor that has serviced the greater Hudson valley for more than 50 years is looking to add a talented Draftsman to their growing team. If you are a experienced mechanical Designer / Draftsman and looking for a top-shelf opportunity outside of NYC, this is the place to be.
- Develop HVAC, piping and plumbing plans for best in class commercial and industrial construction projects
- Provide coordination and clash detection support for mechanical scopes
- Utilize relevant softwares such as AutoCAD MEP, Bluebeam and Revit for mechanical drawings
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related related degree or (5+ years in the HVAC pipefitting / plumbing trades) and more than 3 years of preofessional experience with:
- HVAC and plumbing system design for commercial and industrial buildings
- Local NY state and international plumbing codes
- Design related software such as AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks and Revit
