Drywall Estimator

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with drywall installation projects, ensuring that our clients receive competitive and fair pricing. This position requires a strong understanding of drywall systems and excellent analytical skills to assess project requirements and produce detailed cost breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for drywall projects
Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information
Analyze labor and material costs to formulate competitive bids
Collaborate with project managers to align estimates with project timelines and budgets
Maintain records of estimates and bid submissions for future reference
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience as a drywall estimator or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials
Familiarity with construction project management software
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Effective communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of fire protection systems and framing is a plus
