- Review project documentation to generate a detailed takeoff and accurate estimate
- Attend pre-bid job meetings and site surveys when required
- Generate RFIs when appropriate prior to bidding and send to appropriate entity
- Perform peer bid reviews and analyze completed job cost information to improve estimating
- Ensure all estimates are well organized and complete and ready to review before deadline
- Manage change orders
- 5+ years experience with commercial/industrial, institutional electrical estimating
- Successful track record of negotiating and estimating large projects
- Knowledge of estimating techniques and estimating software (Accubid preferred)
- Understand plans and build strong relationships
- Extensive experience in Industrial and Control-based Estimating (Highly desired)
- Competitive base $70-120k+ (DOE)
