Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Estimator to join our team, focusing on ground-up commercial and multi-family construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in accurately estimating project costs, ensuring that all projects are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for ground-up commercial and multi-family construction projects.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather relevant information for costing.
Review bids from subcontractors and suppliers for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain a database of historical costs to assist in future estimates and project planning.
Monitor project budgets and costs throughout the construction process, providing updates and recommendations as necessary.
Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial and multi-family projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
