My client is a leading contractor based in Oakland, who have an opening for a field engineer. They specialize in industrial construction, wastewater facilities, HVAC, metal fabrication, and more. Responsibilities:

Review and transmit all submittals, and write request for materials and equipment as needed.
Coordinate materials and equipment with vendors.
Review project drawings and specifications to determine priorities, needs, compliance, and more.
Provide feedback to superintendent, and foremen regarding coordinating of work and procurement.
Collaborate with project managers, and other parties to ensure work complies with contractual agreements and quality.
Provide and maintain quantity tracking for cost reports.
Take and keep progress photos.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in construction or related field, or four years of relevant experience.
Experience on at least one water treatment or wastewater project is required.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedule work, and compute costs.
Able to establish and maintain on-going relations among involved parties.
