This role aims to ensure efficient cash management, optimize the company's tax position, and provide strategic leadership to the finance team! Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash inflows and outflows, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring sufficient funds for payments
  • Maximize interest on deposits and work with banks to move funds efficiently
  • Oversee the tax team and manage tax compliance and reporting processes
  • Identify and take advantage of tax incentives and benefits related to company projects (e.g., new facilities, large-scale investments)
  • Drive automation in treasury operations (currently using Excel)
  • Work with the ERP team to integrate treasury and tax systems, particularly using Oracle.
  • Lead RFPs for banking and credit card services every 5 years and evaluate services between RFP cycles.
  • Monitor banking fees and ensure the best deals for the company
  • Mentor and manage the treasury and tax teams, ensuring team development and performance.
  • Handle performance issues, especially within the tax team, and guide them towards improvement

Qualifications

  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA certification
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax leadership management experience
  • Some treasury operations experience (e.g., cash management) is a plus (not required)
  • ERP Experience: Experience with ERP systems (especially Oracle) to enhance automation and reporting for both treasury and tax functions.
  • Tax Experience: The candidate should also be able to find tax breaks and incentives by collaborating with department leaders.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading teams, developing employees, and handling performance issues. The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams is key
  • Experience with multi-state operations and facilities-related tax breaks is essential

 

 

 

Benefits

  • Pay Range is $171,000-$225 annualized salary, plus bonus. *Represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. 
    • This role is eligible to participate in the Company Bonus program. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors

  • Department needs will call for occasional overtime
  • Onsite, in office hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
