Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Civil Project Manager to oversee and lead our heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale civil engineering projects, including highways, bridges, and airports, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring adherence to timelines and costs.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
Oversee project estimating and bidding processes, ensuring competitive pricing and resource allocation.
Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices on all job sites.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil project management.
Proven experience in managing projects related to highways, bridges.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent project estimation and budget management skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
