We are family owned and operated company and are currently hiring for an experienced maintenance mechanic. This position will have the responsibility of maintaining and repairing existing production equipment. The ideal candidate would possess the ability to read and comprehend an electrical schematic, operating and maintenance manuals, work orders, repair parts requests, and a standard and metric tape measure. Other measuring equipment: micrometer, caliper, a scale, and a VOM (Volt/Ohm meter) are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Practice safe work habits always.
- Make all required setting and adjustments for optimum equipment performance to manufacture high quality products.
- Demonstrate ability to teach other maintenance classifications in all qualification requirements and proper maintenance procedures.
- Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot programmable controllers and troubleshoot and repair all A/C and D/C drives and their control systems use.
- Demonstrate ability to use all aspects of the maintenance software program.
- Demonstrate ability to plan and schedule maintenance work, assign work to others according to their abilities and limitations.
- Follow up all work to insure repairs and work are performed in a proper and timely fashion.
- Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines.
- Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintain the machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
- Performing preventative maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels
- Troubleshooting drives, i.e. AC and DC
- Troubleshooting and problem solving
