Company Overview:
Located in Charleston, SC; we are a hard surface flooring contractor that services South Carolina's residential and commercial markets. Due to recent growth within our organization, we are in need of hiring an experienced project manager with a strong background in managing commercial projects from start to finish.
Position Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of commercial flooring and construction projects from planning through completion. They will work closely with architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution. The Project Manager will be responsible for tracking budgets, overseeing quality control, and monitoring timelines. They must be organized, highly motivated, and able to work well with all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage projects from beginning to end according to strict deadlines and within budget
Proactively identify and manage potential risks and issues
Review and approve project plans and ensure all participants understand their responsibilities
Monitor project progress and adjust as needed to ensure successful completion
Track budgets and oversee quality control
Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution
Manage and lead project team meetings
Monitor and report on project progress
Provide timely and clear communication to all stakeholders
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or related field
Proven experience in project management
Experience with commercial flooring and construction projects
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in MS Office applications, AutoCAD, and other related software
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
