What you will be doing:
Responsible for managing multiple commercial concrete projects from start to finish ensuring that each project is completed on time within budget and to the satisfaction of our clients The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction practices cost accounting budgeting and contract management This is a non-remote in-office and on-the-jobsite positionResponsibilities Manage commercial concrete projects ranging in size from 50000 to 20 million Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and cost control measures Coordinate with Preconstruction Managers Assistant Project Managers Superintendents and other team members to ensure successful project delivery CreationReview of Scope of Work Documents and Proposals Review and negotiate contracts and change orders with clients subcontractors and suppliers Commercial Concrete Blueprint Reading and Specification Review Commercial Concrete Quantity Takeoffs Creation of Site Logistic Plans and Project Schedules Construction Document Control RFIs Submittals and ASI Review Manage and monitor project billing and invoicing to ensure timely payment Collaborate with Safety personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices Provide quality assurance and quality control QAQC support to ensure project standards are met Regularly report on project progress financial status and potential risks to executive management.
