Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial construction projects across various sectors including retail, medical, and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project proposals, budgets, and reports to stakeholders and management.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project management within the commercial construction sector.
- Proven experience managing projects in retail, medical, and commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
