QA Supervisor (Food)
Salary: Up to $80k
Location/Schedule: Onsite daily in Mira Loma CA, Mon - Fri 1st shift
Requirements: B.S. in Chemistry, Bio Chem, Food Science or similar + 5 years of Quality experience + leadership experience

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and policies for food and beverage production.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with SQF and HACCP standards.
Train and supervise QA team members to uphold quality control measures.
Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Monitor and analyze quality data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all products meet FDA compliance and regulatory requirements.
Maintain documentation related to quality assurance processes and audits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance within the food and beverage industry.
Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, and food safety standards.
Experience conducting audits and inspections in a food production environment.
Familiarity with food microbiology and chemistry is preferred.
Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication within diverse teams.
Proficient in quality control methodologies and tools.
