What You'll Do:
Prepare project schedules and phasing plans.
Manage job costs through ECAC and WIP reviews.
Control manpower on projects
Coordinate project activities to attain successful goals on all projects by focusing attention on time and in budget project completion.
Be effective in reading and takeoffs from Plans/Specs for new/reroof projects.
On site management of assigned projects including coordination/supervision of subcontractors.
Controlling and prioritizing multiple activities while handling multiple projects.
Assist in winning profitable repeat business by cultivating customer relationships during management of projects.
Controlling and prioritizing multiple activities while handling multiple projects.
Participate in pre-job meetings with handoff from estimating to operations on assigned projects.
Prepare purchase orders request for review.
Participate in all pre-construction meetings.
Maintain communication with project contacts regarding scheduling.
Ensure inventory of materials received at project site.
Coordinate Final Inspections with Customer/Manufacturer and advise Estimating of completion.
Complete Project closeout documents.
Overall responsibility for Quality Control of projects.
Assist Estimating on an as needed basis on job walks and small service projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
5-years commercial roofing experience
Experience in Project Management and/or estimating in commercial roofing or similar commercial construction industry
Read and understands blueprints, specifications and project documentation
Understanding of commercial/industrial system design and installation code compliance and manufacturers requirements for warranty.
Experience with project management software, preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel Word Outlook Power Point)
Written and verbal communication and time management abilities
Organized person and enjoys working outside.
Capable of receiving instructions and clearly explaining problems and solutions to customers.
Abide by all job-site safety requirements, including PPE, and fall protection
