Senior Leader - Land Development

Location: San Diego, CA (off Broadway and First Ave)

Position Overview
The Senior Leader - Land Development is responsible for overseeing and driving land development projects from conception to completion. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage land development projects ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to define project scope and goals.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate land development opportunities.
Utilize AutoCAD Civil3D for project design and development plans.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning laws, and environmental guidelines.
Mentor and supervise junior engineers and development staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and updates to clients and stakeholders.
Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in land development and project management.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and other engineering software.
Strong understanding of land use regulations and permitting processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
