Senior Litigation Paralegal

Location: either West Palm Beach or Jensen Beach, FL

Hybrid work schedule (partial remote)

Position Overview
The Senior Litigation Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting attorneys in the preparation and management of complex litigation cases, with a focus on personal injury and wrongful death claims. This position is designed for an experienced paralegal who can handle a wide range of legal tasks and contribute to the overall success of the firm's litigation team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in the development and execution of litigation strategies
Manage case files and ensure all documentation is organized and up to date
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery
Review and summarize depositions, medical records, and other evidence
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and keep them informed
Assist in trial preparation, including the preparation of trial exhibits and witness lists
Maintain case calendars and ensure compliance with court deadlines
Support attorneys during depositions, hearings, and trials as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in legal studies or a related field
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury and wrongful death cases
Bonus points for experience being on the Plaintiff side
Experience doing Discovery - interrogatory answers, responses to requests for admission and responses to request for production
Strong understanding of the litigation process and familiarity with court procedures
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
