We're an established engineering contractor providing critical solutions for notable brands in the aerospace industry. Currently, we are looking for an engineer near Novi, MI to join a team of project managers, electrical engineers, hydraulic engineers, and mechanical engineers.
This position is hybrid-remote, on-site.

- Develop software controls for complex equipment that leverages hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical features
- Collaborate with cross-functional business units to deliver highly customized equipment valued at over $1M/project
- Work as an Independent Contributor, with minimal supervision, and on a cross-functional team of mechanical engineers, hydraulic engineers, electrical engineers, and a program manager
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and at different stages of products
- Be a key contributor at the 1-3 project design phase and at the 7-10 month building phase
- Spend the first 90 days shadowing our senior software engineer to get the hang of our workflow, best practices, and processes
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an equal amount of experience
- Strong LabVIEW Programming skills
- Experience with instrumentation drivers & protocols
- Experience with instrumenation hardware and control systems
- Knowledge of sensor calibration & signal conditioning
- Ability to interpret electrical & hydrualic schematics
- Windows app development
- C++
- LabWinders CVI
- Expereince with testing software like National Instruments TestStand
- MS SQL
