Systems Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, integration, and validation of complex systems, ensuring compliance with required standards and methodologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and contribute to system architecture, modeling, and simulation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop system architectures and specifications
Manage requirements and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle
Integrate system components and conduct verification and validation activities
Create and maintain technical documentation for system components and processes
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly in a DoD environment
Collaborate with project teams to facilitate Agile development processes
Utilize modeling and simulation tools to support system design and analysis
Conduct system performance analysis and optimization activities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in systems engineering or related role
Proficiency in systems engineering methodologies and tools
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices
Strong understanding of requirements management processes
Familiarity with verification and validation techniques
Excellent technical documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Experience with Agile development practices
Knowledge of compliance requirements in the DoD context
