Key Responsibilities:
Preparing/reviewing federal and state corporate and partnership income and franchise tax returns
Preparing/reviewing quarterly and yearend tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740
Advising clients on tax planning strategies including research and writing memoranda providing analysis and conclusions
Mentoring other tax professionals
Growing the firm's Tax Practice
Willingness to travel (may or may not be required)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required, Master's degree is preferred
CPA license is required
4 or more years of relevant experience at a large corporate tax department or at a large public accounting firm
Strong knowledge of corporate and partnership tax rules
Strong commitment to client service and the energy industry
