We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team for our design/engineering team, who will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems, ensuring they meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. This role involves working closely with other engineers and stakeholders to bring innovative designs from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and create detailed mechanical designs using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure design accuracy.
Generate and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects to aid in procurement and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure feasibility of designs.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during the prototyping and production phases.

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer or Drafter.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, specifically 2D design.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Experience with AutoCAD Inventor is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills are always a must and key to success.
